About WFNBTMA
The World Federation of National Baton Twirling Associations (WFNBTMA) is the international governing body dedicated to the growth, development, organization, and promotion of baton twirling worldwide.
WFNBTMA serves athletes, coaches, officials, and national federations at every level—without discrimination based on ability, country of origin, background, or financial means. Our mission is to create an inclusive, accessible, and athlete-centered global sport.
As part of this mission, WFNBTMA organizes international baton twirling competitions and provides training, clinics, and educational resources in support of the global baton twirling community.
An Inclusive Global Sport
WFNBTMA is committed to providing equitable access to baton twirling for athletes of all ages and abilities, regardless of geographic location, cultural background, or stage of development.
We believe baton twirling is strongest when participation is broad, welcoming, and representative of the global community it serves. Inclusion and opportunity are foundational to our governance, programming, and services.
Athlete Development & Federation Support
WFNBTMA supports athlete development from introductory participation through elite international competition. We work directly with national associations to help them build sustainable frameworks that nurture athletes in positive, structured, and safe environments.
Our federation services include:
Supporting national associations in developing athlete pathways
Providing guidance on coaching education and certification standards
Establishing competition rules and judging protocols
Coordinating international standards for baton twirling events
Promoting consistency and transparency across member organizations
Our goal is to help countries develop not only elite athletes, but confident participants at every level—from local community events to national championships and world championships.
